Bringing Anna to live with her people and raise her as any normal Northuldra kid after she loses her memory at least gives them both a shot at freedom. There’s not a single day Iduna’s heart doesn’t break from the pain of leaving her eldest daughter. Gale is good babysitter. This is probably an AU in which the Northuldra are not trapped in the forest. Maybe they live in Arendelle, after Runeard’s dam flooded their land.
