kelogsloops: I’m still pinching myself… today my cards I illustrated for Magic: The Gathering came out! I was invited to be a guest artist for the Secret Lair June ’22 Drop, where I was asked to illustrate four different Magic cards including this one, ‘Mystic Remora.’ I’ll be honest, these were by far some of the most difficult and challenging pieces I’ve ever done and pushed. I tried all these new techniques and effects with watercolour that I never even thought of before. Take for example, the ripples and rays of light peeping through the water’s surface!
