The levels of Combat Shock are long and hard and certain sections can feel like ultra-demanding grinds or simply too tricky to tackle. They’re excellent demonstrations of Doom’s slaughter gameplay taken to the extreme, though, where crowd control is an important skill and masses of monsters seem like the cells of a massive organism bent on your destruction.
