midgethetree: I recently played some sims 3, and it was a lot of fun but I missed my sims 2 sims. Still, I wanted to keep some of the cool sims 3 stuff, like Bonehilda - luckily, I found both a conversion of her coffin and Bonehilda herself as a custom servo. I felt this could be improved upon, and set about making a version of her coffin that functions like simswardrobe’s servo recharger (i.e., gives her a place to go boost her power motive). I scrapped the max fun/social options from the recharger because I want Bonehilda to go socialize and have fun when she’s done with her duties, but made up for it by tossing in an open/close option to toggle the mesh state, which is mostly useful for storytelling purposes. There are some clipping issues - most noticeably, sims will walk through the door when its open. This keeps Bonehilda from experiencing route failure entering her coffin, but as I said it is noticeable. It’s got a unique GUID and should coexist just fine with the original servo recharger and the deco coffins. Also, if you open the coffin while Bonehilda is inside, you’ll notice she’s rotating; this is what servos did in the original recharger, and since the coffin is meant to be closed at that point I left that part of the code in rather than remove it and make the motive decay more gradual so she won’t come back out instantaneously. Credits:- EA for the original mesh- hafiseazale for extracting the mesh- simswardrobe for the servo recharger I cloned to make this- sentate for making the Bonehilda servo pictured above, as well as whoever made the invisible skin and eyes they used.
