The Prince’s Capture: Part 9The Admiral Yoshi had led Prince Bowser to a stage in the middle of the outpost. He gestured the prince to step onto the stage and followed suit. The yoshi hung Bowser’s shell upon the arc over the stage, while Bowser watched in frustration seeing his birthright being displayed like a trophy. But that frustration was short lived as the Admiral had grabbed his shoulder’s to turn him and face the crowd that had been following them.Bowser looked over the crowd in shock, as he didn’t realize how many yoshi’s there had been. He felt embarrassingly exposed, as he was not in his royal garb and shell-less. The rope binds were the last thing he cared about, as being seen wearing a robe of his bed sheets.“Attention! Attention!” the admiral said loudly, “I’d like to announce the arrival of Koopa Kingdom royalty, Prince Bowser!”This prompted the jeering and boos from the crowd. The admiral used his arms to gesture the crowd to settle down, “What?!” he said mockingly, “I said the Koopa Prince, not the Koopa King. I know they look a like, but the King is not this good looking.” This prompted the crowd to start to laugh and calm down.“Prince Bowser has been brought to us as a sign of good-will, and we should take this opportunity to show him our appreciation,” the yoshi said menacingly. The crowd began to mumble and talk among themselves. "What? You don’t believe he’s here as a sign of good will?“ The crowd collectively voiced a "yes” back to the admiral. "Well perhaps there’s a way he can show you…“ the yoshi said with a sinister smile. The yoshis in the crowd started to have a lecherous look on their faces. Prince Bowser stood shocked as the exchange went on, fearing of what exactly the admiral was talking about. -- source link
