Not sure how interested people are in my process, but here goes. First I come up with some sort of concept. For this one, I wanted to focus on clothing and how a bimbofication victim doesn’t have to be a frumpy nerd. I used to start drawing on paper, photograph it with my phone and do everything else (inking, coloring, shading) on the computer. Lately, though, I’ve been doing everything digitally. Sketching is by far my favourite part. It’s the most exciting, and I love seeing my ideas come to life. My initial concept is rarely set in stone and I often make lot’s of changes along the way. This sequence, for example, was originally only meant to be 3 steps, but ended up as 5. It just felt better that way. I start out with some vague idea in mind, but I usually only write out the story after the artwork is done. It’s basically like captioning my own images. I realize this is not ideal (people were expecting the drink to stay and keep changing for the entire sequence, for example), but writing is not my biggest strength so I prefer to leave it for when it’s the only thing keeping me from publishing a new piece. Hope you guys enjoyed reading this! Final version here. -- source link
