dresdoodles: I want to use this opportunity to share something you might not know about me– It’s no secret that I’m a lesbian, but did you know that I’m agender, too? For me, that means I don’t ascribe to any gender identity. My pronouns are they/them or she/her! #NationalComingOutDay For a long time, it was hard for me to ask anyone to change how they talk about me (and it’s still hard!) There were times I didn’t feel “nonbinary enough” to use it (whatever that means lol) But I love “THEY”! My heart does a happy lil’ skip every time someone uses it for me You might be wondering why I’m okay with she/her pronouns even though I’m agender. For me, “SHE” is like a old hand-me-down sweater I never asked for and it’s way too big, but it still feels soft and nostalgic. It’s a bit overwhelming for me to wear every day, though. I’d love to talk more about what being agender means to me but its too complicated for one sitting and there’s so many tangents I could go off on lol. I’m hoping to explore that more in future comics! -- source link
