Sigyn was the goddess of loyalty, faithfulness, and compassion in Norse mythology and second wife to the trickster god Loki. Not much is known about her other than at the onset of Ragnarök, she remained loyal to her husband even after he was bound by the other gods for the murder of Baldr (god of light). Sigyn stood beside Loki and used a bowl to catch the deadly snake venom that dripped onto his face. However, when she had to temporarily leave to empty the bowl, the venom would hit Loki’s face making him writhe in pain, which would cause the earth above to shake.(Cucculelli Shaheen ‘Alchemy & Mysticism’ Collection) -- source link
