froghollownotes:My day today, as illustrated by Voysey & M. P. Verneuil ♡ A black throated blue warbler flew into the window so hard today, I heard it from my upstairs office. Sat in the screen house watching to make sure no one bothered him as he recovered. And so glad he did! (This doesn’t usually happen, thankfully because of the way the house is set down in the hill I think.) As I watched & waited, a hummingbird hovered right in front of my face before flying out over the house up into the tall trees…. Cats, squirrels, birds and more birds. Watched a little bat flying circles over the garden while trying to avoid a Giant spider on the back deck. I do so love living here. -- source link
