westward-bound-latex: “Perfection in Antigone” – Westward Bound with Jade Vixen and Nath-Sakura, international photographer in Antigone, Montpellier, France.Very Special Thanks. Hair : Christophe Pujol. MUA :Rachel Sintes Make Up Assistant : Caroline Heraud.Elegant, cultured and situated on the Mediterranean coast, Montpellier is a University City best known for its medical school founded in the 13th century and attended by Nostradamus (1521 ) and François Rabelais (1537). We have added a luxury latex twist to its history, Westward Bound (2013). x Amidst its glorious architectural past, Montpellier has had the courage to create uncompromising and beautiful buildings combining the richness of antiquity and modernity. Le quartier Antigone, the setting for this picture, is the extraordinary district inspired by the architecture of ancient Greece and designed by Catalan Architect RICARDO BOFILL. It seemed only right for a leading and cutting edge fashion style entity such as Westward Bound, with the advice of Nath-Sakura, to stage a live location photoshoot in Antigone, Montpellier. We were greatly honoured by top model Jade Vixen flying over from the USA for the shoot and to Sarah Beech, Westward Bound’s Head of Design for journeying from England as image garment coordinator and joint stylist. The result is one of the best fashion photographs we have ever seen. Composition, context, lighting, model pose, clothing. The whole photograph screams perfection. Given this shot was ten months from initial discussion stage, we can justifiably quote a previous resident of Montpellier “everything comes in time to those who can wait.” François RabelaisFootnote. As a point of interest the latex colour of the corset is Aubergine and taken from an 18th Century English paint colour we had developed especially for our latex garments.Buy the Nath-Sakura, international photographer & Westward Bound calendar here : http://bit.ly/19WlWhlwww.westwardbound.comhttp://www.toutmontpellier.fr/le-quartier-antigone—11657.html -- source link
