the-french-belphegor: So it turns out I have way more queer OCs now than I did, what, 5 years ago? And I thought I’d celebrate Pride I used five of them for the same story (or series, rather), and all of them are for the same fandom except Martin (bottom right). From the top, you have:the bi squad: Tommy Ferguson (also demisexual and polyamorous, Liverpudlian, working lad, took a First at Oxford), Elizabeth McAllister (also poly, shy, history nerd, braver than she knows), the Honourable Olivia Beresford (flamboyant, generous, “Please, darling. I’ve never been honourable in my life and I do not intend to start now”) Evadne Hodgins (lesbian, suffragette, also kinda Problematic™) and Kalpana Guthrie (aro ace, scholar, Indian mother and English father)the gay squad: (Lieutenant) Frederick Bennett (survives WW1 more or less unscathed because fuck the “bury your gays” trope), Harry Barnes (history teacher, did not come out of WW1 unscathed and has to use a cane sometimes), and Martin LeBeau (lower-middle-class Parisian, 14 years old in 1918, worked hard to own his own flower shop, in a loving relationship for years with his “flatmate” Charles who works at a bookshop)I love them to pieces -- source link
