buri-art:All I wanted to say was that Kija would totally stan Rengoku, but then I didn’t stop there. Okay, so I DID have a few more ideas for this AU in which the AkaYona universe is as obsessed with KnY as I am.–When it comes to cosplaying based on appearance, Hak points out to Jaeha that there is a certain demon character with canonically green hair. Jaeha has never been more offended.  –Yoon writes fic that delves seriously into every character, especially Aoi, whom he has a special place for in his heart. However, Yoon knows he’s too pretty to cosplay most of the cast, so he just joins everyone by wearing a regular Demon Slayer Corp uniform (and he tends to make other people’s costumes for them). –Shin-ah was given the offer to play a tall Muichiro instead, but when he found out he couldn’t wear a mask, he declined. Instead he just adds a boar mask to his usual attire. –Lili has tried to explain to Yona that they should choose characters that match them a little better if they’re going to bother with cosplay. When Yona asks who Lili thinks she (Yona) is like in the cast, the very first character to come to Lili’s mind is Ubuyashiki Kagaya. She backtracks and agrees that Mitsuri is fine with a few wardrobe adjustments. Yona, without reading the series, reads enough about the characters to become a shipper and convinces Lili to dress as Obanai. Ao is Kaburamaru. Lili silently gives up her dream to cosplay Shinobu. –Ayura unabashedly cosplays Muzan.  –Keishuk tears KnY apart for its narrative sins and Joodoh is annoyed by how it’s more popular than it deserves to be. Soowon doesn’t read it but doesn’t mind getting swept up into other people’s cosplay groups, whether he fits the character or not. He usually doesn’t, but everyone was a little startled when he pulled off Ubuyashiki.  –Zeno cosplays Zenitsu but continues to act like himself.  –Kouren does femme versions of male characters, her most popular ones being Douma and Sanemi. In Douma’s case, Mizali dressed as a little ice Douma and got so into character that everyone was a little weirded out. In the Sanemi case, people thought it would be cute/funny if Tao tagged along as a femme Genya. It was a spectacular failure.  –Without knowing the series well, Vold and Algira got talked into doing a BL version of ObaMitsu. Neither knew these characters are shipped.  –Neguro tried to pull off Himejima. He just looked like himself. Algira wanted to switch characters once he found out Himejima likes cats. He didn’t do much more than put on a necklace.  –Yotaka thinks cosplay is beneath him. But dang, Kouren made it look so cool, he decides he can pull off a male prostitute Dakki. And he does. The Wind Tribe kids discover this and drag him into LARPing as the villain for them to defeat. He relents, but darn it, this feels so uncool.  –Gobi dismisses the whole series as demon worship.  –Hak has told Kija that since he has fangs and claws that he’s better suited to cosplaying demons. Kija is indignant. Granny was upset with what Kija did to his hair, but if he must color the tips, red is an acceptable color. Also, Kija stans Rengoku for his passion and is oblivious to the similarities he shares with him. –Tetora isn’t big into cosplay herself, but loves buying things for other people’s outfits and bringing them together for photoshoots. She dropped a lot of money of that monstrosity of a potted plant for Ayura to carry around. She did pull off a nice Yoriichi once to go with one of Ayura’s Muzan versions, after not really being pleased with how the attempted Tamayo came out. That made her wish to see Lili do Yushiro, but it was only a passing thought. –Kyoga is not a fan and wishes his subordinates would quit being so distracted by this hit manga. In an act of subtle defiance, Taejun hands him a broom one day and simply says, “there.” Kyoga just stands there with it, a little stunned. –TIME TRAVEL TIME! Yuhon got Il into it. They dress as the Tsukiguni brothers. They both wanted to play Yoriichi, but Yuhon was quick to give the role to Il. –Little Iksoo kept pretending to do Water Breathing and although Kashi tried to dissuade him, she wound up playing along with him and dressed as Nezuko (big Nezuko, who winds up carrying “Oniichan” around on her back a lot). Il also plays along in Iksoo’s happy little hero fantasy.  –Yonhi, from a sheltered family, does not know the series at all but becomes a fan through Yuhon’s fanboying about it. She doesn’t cosplay but becomes a dedicated fanfic writer. MORE TIME TRAVEL! –Zeno wants to play Tanjiro. Shuten, as Inosuke, forces him to play Zenitsu.–Abi plays Kaigaku and when Zeno asks if he can at least borrow his bird he says no. –Guen pulls off a really fearsome, giant Akaza but veers off on his own Dragon Bro stuff when trying to be in character. His hair took to the pink dye really well, and Abi gave him some precision eyelash dying.–Shuten sees what they’re up to and scraps the plan to be Inosuke and goes all out on Gyutaro, contouring every visible part of his body. –Zeno wants to change his character to join everybody but they still tell him he’s Zenitsu. –Oh. Hiryuu was cosplaying Yoriichi after all. Dang it, back to the drawing board. -- source link
