Speaking of Sullivan, I keep meaning to draw a cool picture of him to formally introduce him to the public (I’ve mentioned him in passing a few times as the man Stranger seeks revenge on) but that keeps not happening because I’m still working out what he looks like. (I’m getting closer but he still looks a little too young and fresh here.)At first glance, Sullivan looks to be a frail, bookish sort of man. His small frame and below average height mean he is frequently underestimated… until he is put into context. You see, he looks quite different sitting with a cigar in one hand and a knife in the other, flanked by his pack of hired guns.Believe it or not, he is not a vampire, despite looking like THAT. He’s just a normal human man! Mind you, “a normal human man” past his expiry date, a “normal human man” who has cheated the laws of nature by tricking Death out of claiming his soul.Despite the audacity of his original stunt, Sullivan is no fool; he knows that one day, Death will come to correct Her mistake. So, he spends his ever-decreasing days researching the logistics of life and death, scouring the world for magic that may save him yet. In practice, this means raiding antique stores for cursed artifacts, digging up forbidden burial grounds, and lots of murder. The soles of his shoes are lined with real human teeth. -- source link
