When I was at summer camp, my mom started sending me comic books and among them was Cassandra Cain’s Batgirl. Those comics influenced me a lot and are still some of my favoritesWho is your favorite character and why? Harley Quinn! She’s such a complex and yet relatable character and I love how so many people resonate with her.What are you most excited about in working on this zine? Seeing everyone’s different takes on the characters. Everyone sees them in a different way and I think with everyone’s point of view we’re creating something truly unique.What inspires you to create? My friends and family who enjoy my artwork really inspire me to keep going, despite the obstacles in my pathWhat would you say is your best work? A painting I did of Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and Catwoman. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into it and I think it really shows my love for the characters!
