I believe the next reply was a response confirming that they had seen it and it’s why they shipped it at all.The poem, for anyone not familiar, is really just… very unsubtle. The context required here is that Omin had cloned Jim without his consent or knowledge to protect him from a global death curse, which resulted in an emotional falling out between them. The poem (of which Jerry has written many, but this is the only one specifically from Omin’s POV and specifically about his feelings about another character), ends on the following lines:Is it really murder when you kill somebodyIf you spent a lot of money on a less dumb body?Don’t answer.Why’d I try? The only thing I could never really buyWas Jim.It’s not for lack of wealth;It’s like a fucking game of SolitaireI played myself.Are these Jims the same person?Is there a better of a worse one?I don’t know, but my soulSays to stay with the first one.So yeah THOSE tweets are effectively just confirming that the romantic read of this poem is intended. More recently, he also made this tweet.This one is pretty clear cut l m f a o. Omin’s feelings for Jim are 100% intended to be romantic in nature.
