He couldn’t explain why he’d walked into the house and waited any more then he could explain why he left his big city job and took the job on the Ranch. Why he stopped wearing his khakis or kept his jeans even after they become clearly worn and used. He only knows it’s something he needs to do. Needs to be there waiting. He doesn’t matter if he doesn’t understand. He knows the Rancher wants him there and that’s all he needs. -- source link
