angelophile:For upcoming cons, my nephew wanted us to do a family Doctor Who group, so look forward to seeing him as a Sontaran and my sister as a Weeping Angel. In the meantime, here’s my costume - Ood!An easy build this. The mask was pretty effective when I bought it, so I’ve just added some shine to make it look more slimey in parts and a few other minor touches.The suit is using a generic Beatles costume suit as a basis with alterations to make it plainer.The translation globe is made using a Christmas bauble, with LEDs in the hose attachment and sphere. The LEDs in the tube are probably overkill and not 100% accurate, but I just like the way they add to the costume. -- source link
