Just wanted to share my process. Stamp making is a lot of fun and I highly recommend trying it out. Now, I’m not the best at making stamps since i’m always a little sloppy. Definitely has that “handmade” quality ^_^First, I made a sketch on my computer. I then drew this design onto tracing paper and rubbed it onto the rubber stamp block. If you have words, make sure to flip the drawing accordingly so the finished image will read correctly. Next, I carved onto the rubber block using a speedball stamp carving tool and an X-acto blade. Then, I test my designs by stamping them and making any necessary adjustments. Lastly, it’s stamping time! I did the white first, let it dry overnight and then added the eyes, cheeks and scarf the next day. Once this dries, I’ll cut them out, punch a hole in the top and add string for hanging. -- source link
