tolkienrsb: Dear TRSB'ers, After days of intra-mod discussions, we have decided that we need to bring you this PSA: As per our rules about inclusivity, we will no longer be accepting DNWs aimed against groups of people or types of relationship. We are sorry if this was not clear before, but we are taking a stand with our siblings across any and all spectrums of humanity. Any submissions containing DNWs such as ‘No POC’, ‘No slash’, 'No trans characters’ etc. will not be accepted. If you feel strongly for certain readings or visuals, we urge you to phrase what you DO want in your additional details, ie. 'cishet Fingon shipped with the mother of Gil-Galad’ or what have you. Remember that your must-haves are enforceable, unlike in a traditional AO3 exchange where optional details are optional. There is no need to DNW something if you have an incompatible must-have in place. Squicks, triggers, phobias etc. may still be listed as such, as long as they aren’t against groups of people or types of relationship. We did not actually think this needed to be said quite this loudly, but in an effort to be transparent on our part and to follow our own rules we feel it is important that our gallery reflect the values stated in our terms for the event as a whole.
