The seeds of hate, elitism, and distrust are being planted, growing and festering among the minds of wizarding folk and other races alike. But behind the protective walls of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, life is going on as normal. Students worry about their grades, frantically finish their assignments at the last minute, all while friendships and relationships rise and fall like waves in the ocean or forge like metal under a blacksmith’s hand, never to be broken. And Esmerelda White, fifth year Gryffindor and Marauder, is fortunate enough to have two groups of friends that fit perfectly in the latter. Her days are filled with laughter, adventure, amusement, and a never ending amount of mischief, so much so, that she often forgets that there’s a war brewing just beyond the horizon… but then she has a vision of someone’s impending doom, and just like that, reality sharpens, refusing to let her be free of the darkness coming their way.
