Ilya Muromets, modern (reference)Many of you have already forgotten that I participate in zines. Ladybug is almost ready, so you will soon be able to pre-order it (hint - to read my particular excerpt and see my character, order the “Night in Paris” zine for sure). But there is another one that has poorly gained an audience, but nevertheless we are going to finish it!screwinguy zine, a psycho-pagan comicbook-almanac containing stories that tell about the demons of the psyche in the person of all Slavic creatures. Among these stories, my story about Ilya Muromets in the modern way should also appear.I just drew Ilya in a modern design, slightly (very slightly!!!) based on Ilya’s design from the Three Bogatyrs franchise. Plus, I practiced drawing big people (not fat, but big ones), taking a bit of Chris Redfield from the RE: Village as a reference. In general, this is the image that will flicker in the future comics, telling the story of the Demon of Despair, which consumes people without a trace, depriving them of the opportunity to “move” on.P.S.: Oh, well, yes, damn the mustache, because of you it’s hard for me to draw a mouth so that the mustache looks okay. And, well, in general, I like this design. Such a good reference turned out… -- source link
