uesp: Did You Know: By letting yourself get hit by the catapult fire during the quest at Japhet’s Folly, you can acquire explosive “arrows”? Although they do not have a name or a visible arrow, if you fire the rest of your normal ammo you will equip any of these that went into your inventory when they hit you. -- source link
