pokechampion:Pokemon GO Fest news and new events on the horizon!News has been released Pokemon GO Fest this Saturday July 22nd that involves a global challenge with trainers to unlock special events worldwide! During the day there will be 3 “Challenge Windows” in which trainers everywhere work alongside those in Chicago to unlock the global awards. The trainers in Chicago attempt to unlock “perks” for players worldwise based on the types they catch:Fire-type Pokémon - Candy BonusWater-type Pokémon - XP BonusGrass-type Pokémon - Stardust BonusElectric-type Pokémon - Egg Distance BonusRock-type Pokémon - Buddy Distance BonusSteel-type Pokémon - Encounter Rate BonusThose outside of Chicago will catch as many Pokemon as possible during these “Challenge Windows” to extend the duration of the bonuses unlocked!If worldwide hits the Gold reward, then Phase 2’s Mystery Challenge opens in Grant Park from 6pm to 7pm and if that succeeds, then there will be a Global Reward challenge window of July 23rd and July 24th!There are also Pokemon GO Safari Zone events happening in Europe that allows trainers to catch Pokemon never encountered in Europe (Regionals?!).
