nijiart:“A portrait of Malta Vestrit”by Francesca RestaDigital/Corel Painterwww.nijiart.itMy late entry for this week Month of Love challenge, with theme “Beauty”.When I read this theme I knew I had to paint a portrait of Malta: she is a character from the Liveships Trilogy by Robin Hobb and both Love and Beauty have great importance in her life, but she matured so much during the story and with her changed also the meaning she gave to Love and Beauty.This is how I imagine her after the end of Ship of Destiny, it’s a very free interpretation, I’m not sure it perfectly matches the description in the book… it’s just how I picture her in my mind. There is no particular reason for painting a locket with her portrait, but I do think it’s something that Reyn could have. -- source link
