Yes, even as someone who does partake in pain, this pic annoys me for many reasons.. The good part about it is that he is not truly suspended at all but pulling himself up by the chains, so he is technically safe (although still risky since some idiots might not clue in to this and believe that such a suspension is a good idea)..Yet it also means it fucks up the illusion that he is in any way bound helplessly. He can obviously slip right out of those cuffs too.I understand that good photography requires trickery, like a magic trick; but you’re not supposed to semaphore it or it ruins any actual magic. To me, this isn’t a charged BDSM pic. It’s two pretty models posing with no real scene or tension between them at all. She’s standing around gazing at nothing and he’s just working out. They’re both props and not subjects.3/10 But in principle it could be a nice picture. The man is sexy, the idea is sexy, the woman is attractive but not a sex puppet. That’s true and that’s where the 3/10 comes from. It is aesthetically pleasing.
