Another practice cover, this time for a book that’s OOP (in the UK - it’s still in print in its native Canada) but I wish would get a reissue.It is made up of just about every one of my most beloved things in adolescent fiction: timeslip, ghostliness, an arduous road-trip, fire-forged friendship, the Sweet Polly Oliver… it’s a smash.I thought the book was best served by focusing on atmosphere, and felt flatter if I tried to depict the specifics of setting etc too much. -- source link
