forresterbushcraft:It’s easy to forget how much of a tree is usually unseen beneath the ground but occasionally they’re blown over revealing their incredible far reaching root structure, what’s more these massive uprooted structures can be used for navigation if you know the area, and the evidence of them can in some cases still be seen hundreds of years later even when the tree it’s self has completed rotted back into the earth. #bushcraft #nature #outdoors -- source link
