In France too we play the battleships game. It is even said that it originated in France, coming from the game “l'attaque” (the attack) which was played in our country during WWI. Does this game exist in your country too? In this game, if your opponent hits one of your ships you have to say “touché” (which means “touched”, or “hit”). And if this hit sinks your ship, you have to say “touché coulé”, which means “hit and sunk”. But “couler” does not only mean “to sink”, when talking about a liquid it also means “to flow” or “to leak”. So the caption sounds like the classic “hit and sunk” of the battleships game, but since the words were written in their feminine version, it could be read as “Touched and leaking” ⚓️ https://instagr.am/p/COlOv_htfQQ/ -- source link
