In this theory I’m also trying to figure out the BAD red coat, because we know in the episode “The Lodge Fire” there were two (maybe three) Red Coats, Ali (and Maybe Cece) as good red coat and then there was the other red coat that burnt the place (the bad one) So far we know Wren is Charles and Black widow is Melissa, so we’ve just got one person left to know, red coat. I’ve been thinking about this for a long time but I never felt like I had enough proof, but now I think I do. My theory is that Black Widow and Red Coat are the same person, I strongly believe Black Widow is just Red Coat’s funeral’s outfit, this way anyone would see her face, because Red Coat always goes with a mask. Okay, now let’s begin… First what we do know about red coat’s attitude? She seems to be a Jealous Girl who hates and wants to get rid of any girl that wren is into (she attacked spencer and almost kills her in her sauna after she kissed Wren and when Hanna kissed him, RC burnt Hanna’s doll’s hair) That sounds a little bit like Melissa, don’t you think? But wait… Melissa is Black Widow but Red Coat has also some of her attitudes plus my theory that black widow is just red coat’s costume for the funerals … suspicious Now, the picture and GIFs from above In one episode (I think it was 4x10) we see Wren saying a suspicious phrase on the phone while he is colouring a girl’s coat in RED, that seems to be like the mother of the drawing, and also kind of looks like Melissa. The phrase is “You can’t trust anyone” that “Anyone” is possibly referring to him, it seems like this, and where Wren is involved, generally Melissa is too, so maybe by “anyone” he meant he and Melissa. Also about the drawing, the girl kind of looks like Melissa, maybe that was the future he wanted for him and Melissa? Because there was a little boy with a big sister, and there’s no family like that EXCEPT Aria’s one, but that would be suggesting that Ella is red coat and by her attitude lately she is definitely scared of what could happen to Aria (and the other liars too, but of course mostly Aria). So if he was painting the mother of the drawing (that could be Melissa) as red coat, that would be suggesting that Melissa is red coat. In the last picture from 6x08 -Framed- we see what I assume is Charles with Red Coat, the totally look like a couple, and they are also going to prom together, which totally suggests they are a couple we know. On the other side of the ocean, in “England”, we have Melissa and Wren (according to Veronica who says what Melissa told her) so we know they are supposed to be together, but are we really going to believe what MELISSA says? They are together, that’s for sure, but we know Melissa lies as much as she needs to protect herself. Colin, “their roommate” I think that this guy suggests that they were not really in England as they said because, why a “Dr” and a Hastings would need a ROOMMATE? They both have enough money to pay everything they need for sure and any of them shows up in any time when spencer is in London because “they were busy”. yeah, of course “busy”. I think that was a parallel scene to show that they may be lying this time too. Putting all the pieces together I think that “Charles and Red Coat” (repeat, as I assume) are a couple, Black Widow and BAD Red Coat are the same person, so Wren and Melissa, are Charles and Red Coat/Black Widow Any thoughts? Opinions? Melissa did turn up in London though, don’t remember which episode but she begged Spencer to stay in London instead of going back to Rosewood. If Wren wasn’t really in London and Spencer had of stayed then she would obviously question that so I believe Wren may have just been busy working. -- source link
