I tend to focus on SpO2 % rather than pulse (though I’m quite happy with the pulse number). “Oxygen saturation (SpO2) is a measurement of how much oxygen your blood is carrying as a percentage of the maximum it could carry. For a healthy individual, the normal SpO2 should be between 96% to 99%.” 99% is considered top performing athlete level, so obviously I’m tickled pink at 98%. But primarily I’m interested because a lower SpO2 can indicate heart issues (blood is not being fed to the body through the heart efficiently), and also lower SpO2 can be an early marker for COVID. -- source link
