First, a close up on some beds, for the first one, Ernie says “Hmm..” The second one is very small, Ernie says, “Oh, too small. Too small.” Third, a close up on a green comforter with bugs drawn on it. Ernie exclaims, “This one has bugs on it!” Then a bed with a price tag sticking from it. “Ah! I like this one,” Ernie says, before reading the price tag that says, “8300 dollars” and deciding, “Oh. No I don’t.”Then there are 2 panels, each panel showing one of them. Ernie looks curious and Bert looks slightly panicked. The conversation goes, Ernie: “I remember seeing a nice one over there that has a-” Bert cuts him off, saying, “Ernie.” Ernie replies, “Bert?” Bert answers, “I’ve been thinking Ernie.” Offscreen, Ernie prompts him, “Yes Bert?” Bert says, “I’ve been thinking that i don’t want to be here anymore.” We see Ernie sitting on the bed and patting it, “Aw Bert come sit on the bed.” Bert says “No!” with an angry expression. He continues, “It’s too loud, and bright, and I keep getting lost, and that lady bumped into me, and-” with emphasis on the words “loud” and “lost.”Ernie places a hand on Bert’s shoulder, saying, “Aw, don’t you want a big comfy bed? It was your idea remember?” He moves to hold Bert’s hand. Bert says, “Yeah well… Maybe I changed my mind.” Ernie asks, “Did you?” It shows them holding hands and looking into each other’s eyes. Bert says, “No” after a pause. It cuts to them sitting on their couch watching the sunset. Ernie says, “Me either. I wanna wake up with you and rubber ducky and have you complain about my cold feet”. Bert laughs. It cuts back to them standing next to each other and holding hands, Bert looks slightly defeated. He declares, “But I don’t want anyone to bump into me.” Ernie answers, “Of course, Bert!” Bert continues, “She didn’t say sorry.” Ernie replies, “I know Bert”. Now both look happier, Ernie says, “Then let’s look over here” while facing the right. They look through the store, contemplate a bed, look under sheets and dig through some pillows. Bert holds one up excitedly and says, “Ernie this one has a pigeon on it!” After a pause he calls out to Ernie. Ernie replies from off panel, “Over here!” Ernie is sleeping in a bed with green covers. Bert says, “You’re gonna get us in trouble!” and looks panicked. Ernie replies with a content expression, “Oh Bert, this one’s perfect. A real winner,” and pats next to him on the bed. Bert says “Hmm”, looks around, and climbs into bed next to Ernie. They are now lying together and talking. Ernie goes, “Hi Bert” and Bert replies, “Hi Ernie. Ernie asks, “Do you still want to get the big bed?” And Bert replies, “Yes, of course.” Ernie continues, “Even if I snore at night?” Bert replies, “You already do that. What if I kick you in my sleep?” Ernie answers, “You know I love to dance, Bert.”Now shown lying on his side, facing the camera, Bert says, “Yeah Ernie, I do, I really do.” A worker interrupts them, “Sirs. The models are for display only.” Bert replies with a small “Oh sorry” while covering his face as Ernie laughs. Ernie then tells the worker, “Actually while you’re here…” It cuts to a window with a curtain showing that it’s nighttime. We see the sky gradually turn into a sunrise.Then we see Bert and Ernie sleeping in the bed with green covers, the window casting some light on them and a rubber duck on a table beside them.
