marc0polo: WOW that’s so profound I just don’t know how to compliment the original writer. It’s more than profound it explains why western society has camps of nonsensical believers. Eastern society has similar baggage I suppose, but western society has as its core no framework for enlightenment. Whether it ever pursued enlightenment is another question. Consumerism is the Wests GOD now, and there is no belief system, just GREED. -- source link
