Western Village souvenir shop has a tepee sign on the corner, which was later replaced by the figure of a gold miner. We would cruise Fremont Street every Friday and Saturday night of the summer. True story, the very first time I drove was on Fremont Street. I was in the back seat and we came up on a car with a couple of cute girls in it. Everyone but me got out of the car I was in to get in theirs.
