sparklyrainbowbella: I have been asked a lot about my colouring, and in a few easy steps I will try to explain. For practice it’s best to choose a picture with flat hair, have a few different shades of every colour pencil. So for my Belle I have found four shades of brown that mix well together. Always start with the darkest one, go where the shadows will fall. Then the next darkest shade, colour above the darkest one and a bit on the outside of the shadows. Now you can see where the highlights will appear. Then go lighter and work until you are on the last pencil. Then you have to decide how big you want the higlightline to go.. I prefer a small one just to get that shiny look. I does the same on skin/dress too.. And always works from darkest to lights.. Thanks Jenny! -- source link
