The police have stolen so many lives from this city, Southside and Northside. The police’ natural state is that of looting and riot, fire and terror, what you see along lake street is not the immorality of the citizenry, it is the reflection of oppression and terror which has bared down upon black, brown and indigenous peoples in this country since the first settlers stepped foot on this sacred land. What you see is trauma accumulated, what you see is what happens when you cannot touch your attackers: you touch whatever you can. For the sins of this nation, fire across every city would pale in comparison to what has been done and what is owed. Fuck a Target. Fuck a auto zone. If you have more to say about looting than you do about state sanctioned white supremacist terror then you are the enemy. And you are my enemy. There are sides and we are all on them, what you say and do not say places you. 3 days and still 4 killer cops are free. What more evidence is needed? The delay is not about evidence, it is about protecting the ideological death cult of the police. The wicked occupiers. Charge, convict, imprison, defund, dissolve. Until there are no more cops, there is no freedom-the police are antithetical to this ideal.
