briandanielbaker: I love the moral of this image. My dear friend Nadine (whom I’ve shot with several times) definitely pushed herself here, having very little idea why I was directing her the way I was, to do all these poses. But when she saw the finished product, she said it’s her favorite image she’s done. It inspires me to “trust the process,” in life, and to let go of always needing to understand each step of the way.
