nonlinearfluctuations: mermaidskey: queer-and-in-stem: nonlinearfluctuations: The 2016 American Physical Society (APS) Conference for Undergraduate Women in Physics (CUWiP) at Georgia Tech’s applications are open today, September 1st! Deadline is October 15th! Please see our website, the APS website, or our facebook event for more info. If you have any questions (such as who can attend, what happens at the conference, etc) most answers can be found on our website. As chair, I would be happy to answer questions here but the best way to contact us is through email: cuwip[at]physics.gatech.edu. We will also be having student talks and posters and I encourage you all to try to present work you may have! I know it can be frightening, but it is good practice. Please pass this along to any one you may think is interested. If you are not in the south east but are interested in attending, check out the other many locations for this year. The Georgia Tech one will be aimed at students in the south east states (Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi and Puerto Rico) but all 9 sites will be held simultaneously and links to the other locations can be found on our website. To whom it may concern For my undergraduate ladies in physics! Not in the southeast? Here is the complete map of CUWiP locations and their corresponding states: -- source link
