In plagues of nights devoid of sleep, I am exclusively settled by remembering that you are out there existing so heavenly. If you only knew, my handsome modest muse, that I submerge and bathe myself in the glow of thoughts of you; and that I find a universe of comfort when I can give in and grasp every single moment I can manage, and when I tell you of any new wounds the days inflict, you immediately fashion a bandage. You are the most kind and giving. And I am in a safehaven when I can simply sit and use my time to focus on you living. I give all of me to you, except my lonesome flesh. My tragically homesick skin that is sweet, and almost translucent; it keeps me so preoccupied, waiting for time’s permission. And my brittle hair breaks off in pieces of rebellion against the depravity of it’s situation, the sin, the exaggerated travesty of knowing that your fingers are not allowed to dance through it yet. But my gloomy, pink, pouting mouth comes alive when I dream of the nights of my eyes settling on your dreamy shadow on the bedroom wall, OUR bedroom wall, silhouetted by the moonlight, making it easy to fathom that however cold and far away it may be, maybe the moon’s light aches to touch you, just like me. And I want you to know, after the first night I fell asleep to your slow steady telephone breaths, I felt it in my chest; you giving my heart what it needed to rest. I swear…I swear I felt it in my chest, I knew that if I ever lost your breaths, if your warmth ever left , if your love left…if you went after something else… I would not only be alone; I would cease to be myself. -- source link
