Just days ago I was so happy cause Greg Rucka shared my drawing of Kate and Renee. I thanked him on Twitter and said how his and J.H.Williams III run made me came back to reading comics. You know, when I first picked Batwoman I was really reluctant and suspicious, but when I finally read it, it was such a magical experience. Now it’s being cancelled and the most sad part is that I’m not surprised at all, actually I already had dropped it, like I dropped Birds of Prey and last month, Wonder Woman, I feel like it was just left to die. But with all that thing about the bat books being revitalised, I still had this little hope things would get better. Yes, I’m so happy with new titles and great things happening in many publishers, but it’s no less sad. We really know if things like Young Avengers or Alysia Yeoh would happen without Batwoman? At least in a short span of time? But I never stop dreaming, who knows one day someone like Kelly Sue writes Kate and Kieron Gillen Birds of Prey or Black Canary… for now I mourn… -- source link
