I was initially skeptical that this is an American green tree frog (Dryophytes cinereus), as it is entirely brown. However, it seems that these frogs can often change color based on the temperature or perhaps as a form of camouflage. The blood vessels in its gold-flecked eye are entrancing. -- source link
