I had not really seen many chipmunks before moving north, and this place is just lousy with them. They’re cute, but they’re still mammals who like to eat birds when they can… I’ve been coming up with a visual I like, and then coming up with the little story. Sometimes they occur to me simultaneously, but this drawing definitely came before the story. Coming up with the captions has been (almost) as much fun as the ink drawing itself. -- source link
