They worked for no pay. So let’s help them be remembered.EXCUSE ME I NEVER SAW IT MENTIONED ANYWHERE ELSE THAT THE TEAM OF SCIENTISTS WERE ALL FEMALE!!IT GETS BETTER THOUGH. They were talking about this on Wait, Wait.So you’ll notice that they’re not only all women, but they’re all rather little, petite women. It’s because the bones were found deep in a cave, and the passages to it were so narrow, there was literally a call put out on social media for all the itty bitty anthropologists to crawl for 20 minutes through extremely cramped conditions, and they spent 21 days doing this.You can watch the two-hour documentary here if PBS allows, and it’s amazing! I’m sufficiently claustrophobic that I had to turn away occasionally, but it’s absolutely fascinating and the team is beyond cool. -- source link
