Part of the @ohlooktheresabee February Prompt series, these one-shots are proving to be such fun and I am forever in their debt for enticing me into this (first ever for me) month long prompt challenge. Posting one a day for the rest of this month.Exposition - An Ex Files Special 3965 words, 4/10 chapters posted. This one is a serious angsty piece covering John’s bereavement during the hiatus. Deploying the Japanese poetic form of Haibun, the short prose poem chapters end with a haiku. The idea of being able to write “Crime Scene Haiku” that engenders comments in that poetic form, too is icing on the cake. Posting every three to four days.WIPS about to be published:CompromiseA new chapter in That’s The Way The Cookie Crumbles, a multi-author fic frenzy all based around prompts drawn randomly from Chinese Fortune Cookies. My chapter will be up before the 12th of February and Chinese New Year and looks at how John and Sherlock’s domestic arrangements worked in the early days of their sharing 221b. Before the Fall After the CreationA new addition to the stellar Forethought and Fire series by @Shelleysprometheus, following on from our Few Escape the Gallows. John and Sherlock must deal with the consequences of what the Consulting Detective had put him through by faking his suicide, A new case should be healing things, but it isn’t doing anything but make matters worse. In Madness Lies SanityA “mirror” story to accompany Before the Fall After the Creation, and both will be published simultaneously. This is the story of what happened next for Sebastian Moran and his road to independence.
