I wanted to share some of my story of being a BLACK WOMAN. I think it’s important that our voices are heard. I’ve discussed this with multiple friends and was quite nervous about doing this but I feel while people are listening, I want to share a little bit of what I’ve dealt with. My heart is beating through my chest at the thought of sharing this It has made me stronger, it has made me more resilient and it has shown me that I am more capable than I give myself credit for.
