dana-chan325:He always knew…He always knew…He always knewThe Tallest can’t have the Control Brains erase his existence by an existence evaluation without them glitching out…. But Zim has been re-encoded a total of five times in the past…. and he has always taken to it well. (meaning he hasn’t.) readjusting his behavior through re-encoding is the safest bet…. the list of crimes ranging from minor to severe. It doesn’t even mater if Zim can hear them or not. What maters is persecuting and humiliating him in front of the remaining Irken Empire. On a grand scale that he can’t ignore.Zim could say that it was impressive he destroyed the entirety of the Armada (and it is.) And that he should be recognized for that greatness…… but the truth is…. that’s what they’re doing right now. They’re acknowledging his accomplishments.Like you always wanted, Zim.Part One | Part Two | Part Three | (You are on Part Four)MasterpostI only hurt the bug, because I care. Zim needs to realize he’s just not going to get that validation from the Tallest like Dib gets from his Dad. This was the only way. (Seeing good fathers in Finding Nemo helps.) We’ll see if it sinks in this time. And for those wondering what all these “Behavioral Adjustments” will do to Zim…. very little. (aside from more trauma of re-encodings) Zim has always been immune to re-encodings. He has went outside his programming and assigned roles to do what he believes runs in his blood. (A food service drone? No, he’s an invader! Smeet training? No! He needs to see the surface!) However, judging from the dream sequence in ETF, Zim does experience the pain and trauma associated with re-encoding and it’s always been that way, even as a Smeet. Basically, what the Tallest are doing to Zim is trying to train a dog or any animal with pain and torture methods….. (roughly based on how my last dog was handled by his breeder before I rescued him. Do not worry, he opened up, was a sweet boy, and lived a happy doggy life with me. ) Which is why this update has a lot of trigger warnings. HAHA YES MAKE THE BUG SUFFERTHAT’S WHAT I LIKE TO HEAR -- source link
