the-fandoms-are-cool:thedoctorisaconsultinghunter:noya6chan:luciawestwick:This might be the last Marvel red carpet for you.fuck i just realized that as well *ugly sobbing* I just wanna talk about how amazed I was by this for a moment. Tom and Chris’ careers were made by these roles. You all saw that article, they were no names before they became Thor and Loki. And I always talk about how proud I am of both of them and especially Tom because Chris, Chris is the hero of the story, it was obvious from the beginning that he’d acheive fame. But then we have Tom, Tom is the villain, most people hate the villain and here after two movies and now finally a third he’s become the actor that will go down in nerd history as one of the most iconic villains of all time. (And while anyone involved in the Avengers project most likely will as well, it’s amazing to me the things that have happened to Tom) I was looking through the other actors they looked at for Loki and no one I saw could have pulled off the emotionality of this role like he could. For him, Loki changed his life, without Loki he would still be a little known actor from Britain (okay I’m sure he would have gotten discovered at this point but hush) instead of one of the greatest actors of our generation. It blew me away that he still puts so much stock into this role and he can’t believe he may have to give it up one day. Actors that are passionate about what they do and the roles they play are always my favorites, but Tom’s dedication constantly amazes me.PROPER INTERVIEWER REACTION -- source link
