wintesoldieriscoming:Lynn Cohen on the success of The Hunger Games (x)AND THIS IS WHY was so goddamn pissed off that all the 83984 trailers before the movie (except one: Divergent) was chock full of men. Normally I don’t notice because I’m so used to it, but in the context of what movie I was there to see it made me pretty damn furious. GET WITH THE FUCKING PROGRAM, HOLLYWOOD.(srsly looking forward to divergent tho)(and of course some stories focusing on varieties of women other than the straight white able-bodied etc etc would be nice kthx–there are a few but they’re mostly misery porn or revenge narratives) -- source link
