Three stages of making a kanzashi piece: the raw fabric, the cut squares, and the final piece. Sometimes the drabbest fabric can become something beautiful if cut right and fitted with the right finishing touches. This pale pink-and-purple fabric became a lovely half-kusudama with a silver top. It will be a delicate, but visible addition to a yukata or a komon outfit, as it’s playful form and muted colours complement each other. No, I’m not lazy. Finishing some commissioned pieces and trying to get round to taking photos and getting items into my shop. Not lazy, promise!#behindthescenes #saturday #kusudama #chirimen (w: Warsaw, Poland)https://www.instagram.com/p/CK8qAx4ALnS/?igshid=19n6azhneurqj -- source link
