It’s about his feelings and his own reactions. It’s about how he’s handling being vulnerable in the situation with Eurus. It’s about how he feels being susceptible to emotional harm. He has to be someone’s lab rat, someone’s toy. It’s about not being able to clearly see a way out, not being able to think as quickly as he’s use to. Hence, the following scene when he’s sitting on the floor completely shattered and almost ready to give up. It has nothing to do with anyone else but him and him alone. Can’t a man have personal deep feelings without it being frowned upon? Yes. The answer is hell yes he can! Don’t @ me. Agree. Absolutely….agree. Don’t @ me either. Couldn’t agree more.My sister, a casual viewer, even sympathized with him, saying “it’s so sad for Sherlock…he’s just trying his best to save everyone but the world just keeps going after him. Moriarty targeted him, Magnussen targeted him, Mary shot him even when he was trying to help her, and now even his own sister is so obsessed with destroying him”And my sister is exactly right?! And after all that hell, how can Sherlock NOT feel shattered eventually? Ofc he will, and ofc it makes sense. This is a man whose life was at its worst not long ago, in tld where he’s back on drugs back in hell when even John seemed to hate him, and now that he had JUST gotten balance back in his life, a crazy sister is there to trap him and corner him and threaten to destroy everything he could ever hold dear and made him watch, tricked him do it to himself, forced him to shoot between John and Mycroft, forced him to watch as she shoots hostages right in front of his face and tell him it’s his fault they died because he couldn’t solve a puzzle – so OF COURSE Sherlock would shatter?!! All of his emotional vulnerabilities exposed to him and gets humiliated for it?!!
