Timshel is a hebrew word that can loosely translate to mean “thou mayest.” I came across this word in one of my favorite books, East of Eden, by John Steinbeck. What it means to me is that everyone has a choice in their life, your path is your own to choose. I put it on my wrist because my siblings all have literary tattoos on their right wrists, and it serves as a daily reminder to me that I will always have a choice. -- source link
